STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Storage Instructions:
- Store in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture.
- Do not refrigerate or freeze sugar paste decorations.
- If refrigerated, condensation may form causing colour bleeding or softening.
- Once your order arrives, gently remove the decorations from the packaging and place them somewhere cool, dry and open to air circulation. This allows any remaining moisture to evaporate and helps the decorations firm up naturally.
Use By: Best within six months of purchase, but lasts longer if stored correctly.
My son's 1st birthday celebration was coming up on 25th Oct, and the theme was 'Tomato' since we call him that so thought it'd be unique to have a cake which would incorporate the theme. I couldn't find any place to my liking who were selling only cake decorating supplies, however after a lot of research online, to my luck I came across a small family run business called 'Makai Cake Decorating Supplies' which focused solely on cake deco and worked perfectly in my favour. I emailed the business about a week before the big day and anxiously waiting, got a prompt reply the very next day. I shared with the owner, Dorina my ideas and how I wanted the cake to look like. I asked if she could make a wee tomato boy figurine, with some 3D and Flat Tomatoes to which she said yes and also suggested adding fondant leaves and a Snail to give it the cake some colour and the extra look. I'm glad I went with her suggestions, as the cake turned out to look even better than I expected. In such short notice, Dorina managed to not only fit me in but also delivered way above my expectations. Highly recommend her, and I will surely be using her services again in the future. The prices are very reasonable with good quality work and quick service. A good 10/10! 😊
