1. How can I place an order?
You can place an order directly through our website by adding products to your cart and proceeding to checkout.
2. Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Once an order is placed, modifications or cancellations may not be possible. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@makaicake.co.uk to check if changes can be made.
3. Do you accept custom orders for cake decorations?
We do not create custom cake decorations, but you can choose from our wide range of pre-designed decorations.
4. How do I know if a product is in stock?
All available products are listed on our website. If a product is out of stock, it will be marked accordingly.
5. What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?
Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order at info@makaicake.co.uk, including photos of the issue, and we will assist you with a replacement or refund. Proof of damage is required for refunds or replacements.
Edible Image Printing
6. How do I upload an image for edible printing?
You can upload your image directly on our website during the ordering process. If you experience any issues, please email the image to info@makaicake.co.uk, and we will assist you.
7. What file formats do you accept for edible printing?
We accept high-quality image files in JPEG, PNG, and PDF formats.
8. What sizes do you offer for edible image printing?
We can print up to A3 size (29.7 cm × 42 cm / 11.7" × 16.5"). Smaller sizes are also available upon request.
9. Are wafer paper and icing sheets allergen-free?
Yes, our wafer paper and icing sheets are allergen-free. However, please note that they are produced in an environment that handles allergens.
10. How should I store an edible image if I don’t use it immediately?
Edible images should be stored flat in a sealed plastic bag at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze them.
11. How long can an edible image be stored before use?
Edible images can be stored for up to 6 months if kept in proper conditions (sealed, dry, and away from sunlight).
12. How long does it take to process an edible image order?
Orders placed before 2 PM are processed the same day and dispatched the next business day.
Fondant Decorations
13. Do fondant decorations require drying time?
Yes, fondant decorations typically require at least 3 days to dry completely. Please plan your order accordingly.
14. Are fondant decorations allergen-free?
While our fondant decorations do not contain common allergens, they are made in an environment that handles allergenic ingredients.
15. How should I store fondant decorations?
Fondant decorations should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze them, as this may cause condensation and make them soft.
Shipping & Delivery
16. What shipping options do you offer?
We offer multiple delivery options, including Royal Mail 48-hour, 24-hour, and Special Delivery services. Free shipping is available for orders over £30 (Standard service only). For more details, please visit our Shipping Information page.
17. Can I track my order?
Tracking is available for certain shipping options. If your chosen service includes tracking, you will receive a tracking number via email once your order is dispatched.
18. Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the UK.
19. Can I request my order to be shipped in separate packages?
We do not offer the option to split orders into separate shipments. If you would like items shipped separately, please place separate orders and pay the corresponding shipping fees.
Bulk Orders
20. Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
Yes! If you are placing a large order, please contact us at info@makaicake.co.uk for a custom quote. We offer discounted pricing for bulk purchases.
Returns & Refunds
21. Can I return an item if I change my mind?
- Non-edible products can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in original condition.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
- Edible and personalized items cannot be returned.

22. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal.
Order Issues
23. What should I do if I entered the wrong shipping address?
If you notice an incorrect shipping address after placing your order, please contact us immediately at info@makaicake.co.uk.
- If your order has not yet been shipped, we may be able to update the address.
- If it has already been dispatched, we cannot make changes.
